Basic composition
LED display consists of three parts: main LED display, content source and LED controller. The display screen is composed of a plurality of LED display unit boards, which are connected together and constitute the main body of the LED display screen. After connecting all the boards, the content can be displayed seamlessly. The controller can also be divided into two parts: video processor and video control system, namely hardware and software. LED controller has different functions, depending on the size of the display, light content and application requirements. The content source can be computer input, camera or DVD player input, etc.
The structure of the screen
The screen consists of several different components, all of which work together to bring content to the viewer. Just like motor vehicles, they have different shapes and sizes, but they all have the same basic components. Whether indoor or outdoor, LED display is composed of a separate LED panel. LED panel includes frame or cabinet, power supply, sending and receiving card and LED module. Each module includes diodes, drivers, ICs and PCB boards.
LED panels are connected to each other to create connected LED displays. The controller acquires the content and sends the signal to the LED panel. If the aspect ratio of the source content and display is different, depending on the source and controller, the content may need to be scaled. All these components of LED display together constitute a video wall that can be used for various purposes.
